I find it interesting how so many on the left are complaining about the fact that so-called “gullible” people who “don’t have a clue what they’re talking about” as it relates to the ObamaCare issue are heavily influencing the debate.
Where were these same people when many of the millions of gullible people who didn’t have a clue what they were talking about went to the polls and voted for Barack Obama? Oh, that’s right – they were going to the polls, voting for the same guy alongside them.
I guess it depends on their definitions of “gullible” and “clueless.”

“Gullible” and “clueless” is a good definition of a liberal and/or a leftist.
And, of course, of the average public school graduate for the last few decades, the kind who thinks it’s their civic duty to go out and vote. For who the MSM tells them to, without checking backgrounds, records or, most of all, the Constitution.
I guess it’s sort of like how they constantly blasted W about his speech, but Obama gets away with all kinds of crazy talk. I actually dont blame him for using a teleprompter because everytime he speaks without one, he sounds like a blabbering idiot… I mean come on..wee-weed up?

The sad fact is, the American people’s BS detectors have been tripped and they know damn well what kinds of nonsense lurk behind the bland insincere assurances they offer.
The public is figuring out that when Obama says “let me be perfectly clear” he’s about to obfuscate. When he says “as I have always said” he’s about to do a 180. And when he says “this is not about me” it’s about him. They are also figuring out that he is really a hard left doctrinaire soclialist, intent on transforming this nation into a sad parody of the failed European welfare states, something nearly every American viscerally refuses to accept.
The more he and his stooges hector the American people and claim they’re racist ignorant Nazis, the less they see to like.

It’s truly amazing that, theoretically anyway, the “new” health care system will be “similar” to existing Medicare/Medicaid, programs whose unfunded liabilities right now run into the tens of TRILLIONS. Yet Mr. Zero is telling us they will pay for the 47 million new “legal” uninsureds with savings from programs already running trillions of dollars in debt?
Must be some of Dubya’s new math in his No Child (or politician) Left Behind.
Ah yes, clueless. Well, if clueless means not liking the idea of a bunch of lawyers, most of whom can’t be trusted to apply a bandaid, deciding my health needs, I confess to being clueless.
Of course I also wonder just how many clues all those people had who voted for someone who has never even run an effing lemonade stand to be President of the United States.
All great comments and sadly true. Could Obama even successfully run a Taco Bell? Doubtful. I dread to see this nation if he is allowed to ramrod through his Socialist agenda in four short years. And what lengths will they go to to squelch the opposition?
47 million legal residents doesn’t seem like that many, Baklava, when you divide it between the 57 states like our glorious leader does. That makes the numbers much more manageable.
The 47 million truly does include illegal immigrants.

It is truly amazing how the American people have realized that this guy, who ran “centrist”, which I had my problems with, as he voted extremist leftie, are now waking up and saying “No You Can’t”. How many of these people, at these townhalls, are actually 0Bama voters. From what I understand, most Dem townhalls are intended for Dems Only. The last time I was invited to one I was in the union here, and they did not realize I was a Rep. I was never asked to go again, if the union was distributing the tickets that is.
So these immature idiots are calling their constiuents dinning room furniture names, and making everyone feel so happy and unified, that we can’t wait until we get to vote again. 0bama has been such a unifier, don’t you all feel unified??

Yes, Peter… I concur. I recently received an email from my sister in Minnesota who informed me that our parents, both in their 80s voted for this “wizard” and that she didn’t but was soooo worried about the “bimbo” status of Sarah Palin, who has more executive experience than OB even NOW. My response to her email, without doubt, will create a rift in our correspondence. How can people with reasonable intelligence and a college education buy into this dribble. While the LEFT had not problem comparing Bush to Nazis, I keep worrying about the similarities: both great orators, both promised to do wonders for their country, both iniated total government control [or is trying to], and both wanted death counseling. And both had total disregard for the elderly! I am five years out from Social Security and cannot wait to see what he has in store for me. Where is the common sense factor??? Not to mention the fact that socialized medicine does not work!
Yeah, the left keeps talking about the “clueless demonstrators who’ve never read the bill and don’t know what they’re talking about”, but just remember, it was leftists and some wannabee leftist Republicans who never read the bill (no one, in fact, could have because it wasn’t issued in print form until just before the vote – transparency at its finest) who blindly voted for the House bill to begin with.
Talk about clueless. I don’t care if only one of the demonstrators has read the bill, that’s a higher percentage than of those who actually voted for the thing!
