Remind me again - who's ultimately responsible for all the spending that is allowed by our form of government?

Oh, yeah. It's Congress! The most the prez can do to stop it is lobby for or against spending or veto what is passed by Congress.

Is this mess all Duh-1's fault? Certainly not, but he shore ain't been askin' fer less.

Is it all the donks' problem? Certainly not, not since our former prez was almost as anxious as Duh-1 to spend us into oblivion.

Is it all the pachyderms' fault? Again, certainly not, unless you believe in the donky pixie spin.

And BRAVO! to the 27% smart enough to recognize what sleazebuckets our whole legislative and executive branches have turned into.

Well, it is a fact that most people who voted for Obama did it as a protest vote against Bush. Now those same people are beginning to understand that they wasted their vote. They are starting to look elsewhere - forget the magnificent speeches and photo ops - now they realizing there isn't much substance. They are getting an earful of bellyaching and lots of spending, spending, spending. I think as a whole people are really nervous about the economy not about jobs, but about how much the government is spending on programs that are not creating anything but a bigger government.

Three years from now, when Obama is trying for his second run at office, and after he and all the loonies in the Democratic Party have completely nuked the economy, they will still be trying to blame everything on Bush.

In my opinion, the Republican Party would be smart not to spend 1 dime on campaign ads. Just letting the Democrats continue to make complete fools of themselves by continuing to blame Bush for their mess will be the best campaign advertising the Republicans could dream of to regain control of the WH and Congress.

Washington (CNN) – Nearly two years into the recession, opinion about which political party is responsible for the severe economic downturn is shifting, according to a new national poll.

I find it odd that CNN is more concerned about opinion, than fact. The party in countrol of Congress should have been blamed not the 1 guy at the White House. But the lame stream media were able to portray GW at fault for our economic problems instead of the left wing good ole boy network of which BHO was apart of.

“The bad news for the Democrats is that the number of Americans who hold the GOP exclusively responsible for the recession has been steadily falling by about two to three points per month,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “At that rate, only a handful of voters will blame the economy on the Republicans by the time next year’s midterm elections roll around.”

OMG Where are the Puffs Plus tissues?!?!?!? Can you hear the sympathy from this man?? I am certain Mr. Holland, that CNN will be doing their absolutely best to paint our problems on George Bush. After all, who elses fault could it possibly be, certainly not BHO??? - Lorica
