In theory, MA could wait till Hell freezes over before certifying the next “honorable senator” from that state. (Which brings up the question, when was the last time that state had an “honorable senator”, but that’s another subject.)

It used to be the line that who one state elects as their senator had nothing to do with any other state. Since the last MA voting debacle, and with socialist extremists in leadership roles (Obama, Reid and Pelousy), that line of thinking has been turned on it head. We in Oregon, or Utah, or Arizona or anywhere else have every right to be screaming (and fighting) angry about how that poor excuse for a member of this “union” acts in such an ideologically irresponsible way.

As far as I’m concerned, MA can join California and NY as best serving the union by sliding into the ocean. They are nothing but drags to the rest of the nation, and expect us to pay for every hair-brained unicorn socialist plan they come up with to destroy themselves, and want the rest of the nation to follow suit so they won’t look as stupid as they really are.

If Scott Brown wins the seat, and the Dem’s drag out his certification to prevent a Republican vote against the unpopular healthcare bill, I’m certain it would activate an uprising against the Dem’s in this fall election.

Considering how unpopular the health care bill is (in reality, not through the MSM lens) and this intention to negate the voter’s will Brown should be beat this drum like a monkey on espresso. Efforts such as these, changing rules to stay in power, delaying confirmation to load the count, finding uncounted ballots in trunks of democratic poll-watchers that are skewed to a particular candidate just in time to save a seat (yeah, Stuart Smalley- I’m calling you out), etc, etc (ad naseum), bring to mind a pertinent preamble:

“…That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. I’m sure the Democrats already have a secret plan to use ACORN to steal the vote away from Brown if it looks like he has even a slim chance of winning. ACORN is nothing more than the coup d’état wing of the Democratic Party. They’ve been employing ACORN for years to steal votes and it won’t go away anytime soon. I’m sure they have been funding them in other ways to continue their dirty work even though the Republicans and Independents have stopped most funds to them flowing from Congress.

I agree with Bill. The chances that ACORN and SEIU will allow a Republican to win a deep-blue state are about the same as William Jefferson Clinton keeping his hands off of other women.

I predict the “official” total (after ACORN and SEIU work it over) will be:

Coakley 56%
Brown 40%
Other 4%

FWIW: PPP (a Democrat polling outfit) has the race as a tossup.

The twenty-first century is turning out to be pretty awesome so far. Why? Because so many of us have easy access to technology – blogs, YouTube, etc. – that keep us informed and help us spread the word. We no longer live in a time when shady deals don’t see light until long after they’ve already happened…not unless we *want* to ignore them, that is.

The problem of technology, Sarah, is that humans are basically lazy, and don’t wish to see that which goes against the grain of their government education. That is, they visit sites that confirm their own prejudices (just like most conservatives do) and ignore the ones which give them pause to think about their beliefs and world view.

And, unfortunately, that is only right, since I don’t want the government to come in and treat the net like they want to treat talk radio. Somewhere down the line they will try to eliminate conservative thought on the net, but hopefully we won’t have to go underground, and in the meantime each one of us can suggest to left-leaning friends specific articles and sites just to get their curiosity worked up.
