First ClimateGate, then GlacierGate, now Amazongate

It’s just not been a good last several months for global warming alarmists on the issue of “man-made” climate change. This time around, Telegraph’s James Delingpole, Dr. Richard North, and Anthony Watts all report on another IPCC claim that wasn’t “peer-reviewed” as originally advertised (not that actually being “peer-reviewed” by a bunch of agw shills is impressive anyway).

The IPCC claim this time was on the issue of Amazon rainforests, specifically that “40% of the Amazon forest is threatened by climate change.” Read the posts linked above for definitive evidence that proves that this claim, too, like the Himalayan glacier claims, has no basis in fact and instead was based on a “report” written by the pro-agw advocacy groups WWF and IUCN.

It’s fascinating, really, when you consider that the IPCC is supposed to be the most respected group in the world when it comes to the issue of “man-made” climate change. In reality, the IPCC perverts and distorts science by suppressing dissent and manipulating data … and for what? In the end, as I’ve written before, it all boils down to two things: money and power:

To these people, it’s not really about β€œsaving the planet for future generations.” It’s about destroying capitalism and individualism in favor of a centralized and socialized β€œorder” of sorts that will soak the rich, middle class, and poor alike – and not just of their money – in the name of the β€œgreater good” – of those in power, that is.

Nope, not a conspiracy. Just the reality of it.
