David Paterson to resign soon over alleged “new scandal”?

Take this story with a grain of salt, but if true, it would be unprecedented to have two Governors of the same state resign over a sex scandal within a matter of a couple of years.

Have you ever noticed, for a jackass it’s only a scandal if the donk establishment wants you removed from office; otherwise, it’s none of our business (as in the Clinton cigar episodes) or of no importance (as in Bawny Fwank’s partner running a gay call service out of Bawny’s house)? That a certain senator from the NE can cozy up to people who are about to crash the housing market and get a super sweet deal, but a po’ nobody from Lousyanna can’t keep a lousy $90,000 cold cash on hand? Or that hell won’t have it if you used a POSSIBLY negative term during your college years, but if you plagiarized you could end up as VP, or if you dared the IRS to collect your taxes because you happen to be head of a Fed branch you might end up as Sec of the Treasury?

Paterson’s problem isn’t whatever scandal he may or may not be involved in, it’s that he’s ticked off the jackass establishment.

If you happen to be a Republican politician, on the other hand, there’s absolutely nothing too small to bring up as a sin, true or not. And if the MSM and donks (but that’s redundant) can’t find anything specific they’ll find some neanderthal who probably isn’t a Republican to begin with, have him say something Lenny (in “Of Mice and Men”) wouldn’t say, then paint him as an ardent supporter, thus painting you with the same broad brush.

That’s “fair and balanced” to most of the MSM.

My point exactly, Tom. If Paterson were in the favor of the ruling oligarchy of jackasses, it wouldn’t matter what his scandal is. He isn’t, it now does, end of Paterson.
