Well, it’s eve of the first day of October, and it’s got me thinking that an October surprise by this administration and the DNC – aided, of course, by the MSM – is just around the corner. Considering their sagging poll numbers, and their desperation (especially as of late), I’m figuring that about all they have left to offer is some type of October shocker that they think would work in persuading voters to give them another chance to avoid their agenda coming to a “screeching halt” with big GOP wins in November.
Siv Jensen is the leader of the Progress Party in Norway. She’s also of a rare breed in Europe: a political leader who advocates small government and free markets. (In Europe, the conservatives are often not much less statist than the Left.) For her views, Jensen has been described as the “Margaret Thatcher of the North;” she’s also expressed her admiration for Sarah Palin.
