Saints at the Panthers (UPDATE: PANTHERS LOSE 34-3)

Panthers logoThe 1-6 Panthers continued to demonstrate last week why they are one of the worst teams in the NFL by losing to the St. Louis Rams 20-10. They’ll try to rebound here at home today against the Saints, while the Saints (5-3) will look to keep the race for NFC South leader tight (Atlanta and Tampa Bay are at 5-2). The Panthers uphill battle will be made all the tougher by the fact that running back DeAngelo Williams is still out with a sprained left foot.

What’s the weather like here today? Cool, very fallish, but sunny – the high is supposed to be around 60 degrees.

The game starts at 1pm ET and will be broadcast on Fox.

My NFL pool picks: ATL, BUF, NE, JETS, NO, BAL, SD, AZ, NYG, IND, KC, GB, CIN.

Update – 8:09 PM: Another embarassing day: Panthers lose 34-3. On top of that, more injuries.

Is this season close to being over yet? :(

    This year the Panthers have been able to consistently snatch defeat from the jaws of victory – today has just been truly ugly though. :(

    Oh, well – rebuilding year and all that, huh?:((

    Allow me to point out that my Oakland Raiders beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-20, in overtime! :)
