Killing a baby after it’s born and has taken breaths? Is not abortion. It should be, and is, a crime punishable by law.

Let’s remember – there’s a politician who was in favor of allowing babies who survived attempted late term abortions to just be tossed onto a pile of dirty laundry and left to die. And I’m sure Jill supported that politician. You might have heard of him. Name of Obama.

Which means either Jill has no pangs of conscience over supporting someone who is indifferent to murder, or she doesn’t mean a word of it. Or both.

I don’t have enough knowledge of the English language to express my horror of the abortion business. As sure as there is a God in Heaven, this nation will, one day soon, rue the day that this action was allowed to become law. No doubt in my mind, we are a nation that has lost it’s way.

ST, please do not continue to beat youself up over what you believed when you were young and, as you say, “pretty naive”. Guilt trips never do anyone any good. You are wiser now, and you put that wisdom to positive use every day right here on these pages. And I’m sure the rest of us have no idea how much of a positive impact you make away from the computer.

Whatever you believed in your youth, you’ve atoned for it a thousandfold. Rather than dwell on the past, look ahead.

Except for the external conditions and the costs/profits for the abortion/murder providers, seems to me the abortions are identical no matter what clinic one happens to want to kill a baby in.

In other words, this Gosnell creep wasn’t much (if any) worse than Tiller, except he didn’t keep his place clean.

After reading the Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial on this case, I couldn’t help adding my two cents to their reader comments:

Using the Inky’s standard from last week – that all crimes of violence must be the fault of someone else – we have to ask what climate of hate caused Gosnell to do this? Maybe NARAL’s to blame, or Obama’s vote to throw babies who survive abortions on a pile of dirty laundry to die. I jest, of course – Gosnell’s the only one to blame. But at least the Inky didn’t look for a scapegoat for crime this one time. I guess that’s a small step forward.
