The conservative Heritage Foundation produced this video, contrasting claims made by protesters in Wisconsin with the facts about the financial aspects of the budget-balancing bill proposed by Governor Walker. I’ll let you be the judge, but I really, really hope none of these people are teaching History:

Well, what can you say about the state of the teachers in Wisconsin? They are tone deaf. I am assuming they live in a parallel universe of some kind. They don’t understand who is paying them. Collective bargining with their union representatives should be done in front of cameras for all the people of Wisconsin to see the deals that they try to forge to get those wonderful benefits that the rest of the populace only dreams of…and the summer off too!!

The idea that they are busting unions is somewhat bogus….they shouldn’t be able to hold taxpayers hostage like this. Why didn’t they go and stand with their picket signs in the town squares where they teach? Or in front of each individual school? Why. because like the democrats who ran away..they are cowards.

One wouldn’t have to know anything about the dispute to know the union protesters are lying.

That’s what unions do, especially when they have a “grievance”.

They’re just like a pile of pig poop dropped in front of the audience, hoping no one will notice what a pile of pig poop looks like.

Well, not if the comparison is completely accurate. I mean, there’s no difference at all between having to pay a small part of your own health care coverage and being shipped to Auschwitz, right?

The truth is those on the left want to burden the states with excessive largess so that the states will be dependent on the feds to bail them out. This is all the left is concerned with. They do not now, no have they ever, been concerned with the proper constitutional order of things. I have lost all respect for them on the simple fact that they [the left] have given up on pretending that the founding principals of our nation matter. I am done with them. Just keeping my powder dry, and hoping Ft. Sumter does not make a second appearance. Sorry, but this is how it is.
