Thought: Why is Planned Parenthood called … Planned Parenthood?

… especially when they and their most ardent supporters, you know, strongly discourage parenthood?

  1. Excellent question! Considering less than 5% of their “clinics” have prenatal care…there really isn’t much planning for parenthood involved there. It should be “planned prevention parenthood”.

But to answer your question – Because “who cares about life and parenting when preventing it makes us rich” was to long to put on bumper stickers.

  2. As Herman Cain called it yesterday: Planned Genocide (of blacks). Based on founder’s beliefs (Margaret Sanger – supporter of eugenics) and placement of so many PP clinics in minority neighborhoods.

  3. Welcome to your progressive future…like 1984 in that up is down, black is white, day is night…what isn’t, is…libs always are adept at changing words and definitions to suit their marxist agenda. It all is in their ” How Can We Fool ‘Em Today ” playbook.

  4. Same reason they call abortion “choice” and “women’s reproductive rights”.

Its all about creating enough of a deception that the ignorant masses don’t bother to even think about it.

  5. But “terminating a pregnancy” sounds sooo much better than “killing a baby.”

And “women’s reproductive rights” sounds sooo much better than “I’m too irresponsible to pay attention to my life.”

And they’ll never accept the fact that their “choice” occurred when they were impregnated.

  6. Because once you actually do plan to become parents, you don’t need their services.

For Panned Plarenthood, actually planning to become a parent is always something for far more than nine months into the future.

  7. Like most leftist outfits, it just wants to plan for everyone except themselves. In other words; they can live your life better than you can.

  8. The operative part of “Planned Parenthood” is “plan,” as in “Soviet Five-Year Plan.”

Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with “freedom” and everything to do with “control.”
