The decision is a turn-around after Holder said in November 2009 that he had decided the conspirators —

Mohammed, Walid Muhammed Salih Mubarak Bin Attash, Ramzi Bin Al Shibh, Ali Abdul-Aziz Ali and Mustafa Ahmed Al Hawsawi — should be prosecuted in civilian court.

At the time, President Obama said he left the decision to Holder. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Monday that the decision to reverse himself remained with Holder, but he didn’t want to get ahead of the announcement.

Translation: Bush was right.

Look for the military trial to be put off until after next year’s election. At that point neither Holder nor Obhammud will give a rat’s patootie what anyone else (read: voters) thinks and reverse field again and rush a trial through in NYC before the next inauguration.

Now,if this Sheik was black,he would be free already and Holder would help him sue the US.
Obama must have gotten some new orders from his boss.
I know he has a boss because one person alone could not stuff up this many times.

Isn’t it funny on the timing of such a decision? On the day he opts back into the race for 2012. Interesting.And switching his campaign promises all across the board. And now switching the trial from a civilian court room to a military court? Hmm. Shades of Bill Clinton during his first mid term presidency.
