So, like, maybe a run for Congress might not be so bad after all

I’ve long been a firm believer that you can do more good for your country outside of elected office than you can in it, but after looking at a shirtless photo of Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL) as part of an article done by Men’s Health magazine, I might could be persuaded to make a run for the US House in 2012.

Of course, I’d have to run against forever-man Mel Watt (D) here in the highly gerrymandered NC-12 district, and would most certainly lose, but it’d be kinda cool to see how much publicity I could generate in the process, and the endorsements I would hopefully pick up — hopefully one Mr. Schock (who is single) included …

Right. :D

Now, back to your regularly scheduled reality programming, already in progress.

  5. You go, girl! The problem with NC is, too many are trying to shake the Southern Doyle image by going too far to the left at times. But deep down, NC is just good ‘ol boys and gals. You would stand a decent chance–really.
