So, like, maybe a run for Congress might not be so bad after all

I’ve long been a firm believer that you can do more good for your country outside of elected office than you can in it, but after looking at a shirtless photo of Rep. Aaron Schock (R-IL) as part of an article done by Men’s Health magazine, I might could be persuaded to make a run for the US House in 2012.

Of course, I’d have to run against forever-man Mel Watt (D) here in the highly gerrymandered NC-12 district, and would most certainly lose, but it’d be kinda cool to see how much publicity I could generate in the process, and the endorsements I would hopefully pick up — hopefully one Mr. Schock (who is single) included …
