Senate GOP to Obama: What about YOUR work ethic, Mr. President?

Absolutely priceless. Via The Hill:

Senate Republicans on Friday said President Obama should look in the mirror before questioning their work ethic.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the Senate GOP’s campaign arm, released a Web video that spliced images of Obama playing ping pong, drinking beer in Ireland and hitting the golf course over audio of him lashing out at congressional Republicans Wednesday for not working hard enough to hammer out a debt-reduction deal.

“Actions speak louder than words,” the ad says.

A flurry of Republican lawmakers responded in person to the president on Thursday, after he called out members of Congress.

“I think the best way to get an appointment with the president is to set up a tee time,” said Sen. John Thune (S.D.).

“They’re in one week. They’re out one week. And then they’re saying, ‘Obama’s got to step in,’ ” the president said at a press conference on Wednesday. “You need to be here. I’ve been here. I’ve been doing Afghanistan and bin Laden and the Greek crisis and — you stay here. Let’s get it done.”

    Seventeen rounds of golf and 37 fundraisers in the midst of the debt crisis doesn’t reflect much of a worth ethic in my estimation. The LSM conveniently neglects to mention that George W. Bush suspended playing golf while US troops were fighting overseas because he was concerned it would reflect the wrong image.

    Personally, I’d rather he was out on the links, over in Afghanistan, drinking beer in Ireland, pooping in Nigeria, ANYTHING but being in D.C. screwing up my country, destroying my society, killing any chance of mankind improving his condition and trying to eliminate any choice of belief in a sovereign God.

    So far this carpetbagger has played over 60 rounds of golf. GW (not my favorite prez by any means) played a total of 24 in his entire presidency. Not only is Duh-1 a sleazy gumba, but he’s a lazy jerk who thinks life’s a lark as long as he’s got fools paying him to ruin their lives.
