What’s missing from this CNN piece on the black flash mob problem?

MediaRead it.  All the way through.

No mention that the perps are usually black and the victims are usually white.

Now, we know how this would have played in the national media out had the perps in these mobs been white and the victims been black.  But because of political correctness and the soft bigotry of low expectations, let’s not talk about it. Let’s ignore it and just blame it on “teens being bored over the summer.”   Ignoring the root of the problems facing poor black communities has worked out SO well over the las several decades, hasn’t it?

Houston, we have a problem here, and it’s going to take more than just local media outlets who are (unlike the national media) brave enough to mention the race of the perps in these incidents to open up a tough but much-needed HONEST national dialogue about the underlying issues facing poor black communities. We sure as heck can’t count on liberal black politicos to do it (Philadelphia Mayor Nutter being an excpetion, of course).

John Bennett wrote an excellent piece at the American Thinker a couple of weeks ago about the emerging epidemic of black flash mobs in America, and how the national media was mostly silent on the race factor – and how, of course, some “black leaders” objected to pinpointing the fact that these are  largely black on white crimes. Make sure to read the whole thing.
