I’m willing to bet those that protest this idiotic idea will be the babysitters who will most likely be out of work if this idea ever gets passed into law.

When I was growing up long, long ago it was said that California set the national trends.

How I hope and pray that’s not true anymore.

‘Bout the only thing they’ve supplied the nation with in the last century that made a lick o’ sense was Mr. Reagan, but how the Hollyweird-types howled at that!

Bet this doesn’t apply to all the “personal assistants” running around the entertainment industry who are on duty 18 hours a day and on call for all the rest…actually, though, it looks like a teen jobs bill if it doesn’t apply to the under 18 crowd.

Ok, so I’ll just have to fire my 18-year old babysitter and hire the one next door who’s 17 and really doesn’t need the money. Another awesome move by the CA legislature. What are they thinking?? Aren’t there more important things to contend with right now?

They forgot to add in the pension plan for those who work 20 years babysitting so baby sitters can retire with full pensions for the rest of their lives.

California is the laughing stock of the nation. Not every one living there is a leftie but why in the world do they put up with this kind of laws. California is circling the drain yet the so-called legislature finds time for this kind of crazyness.
