It’s typical of the liberal mindset. They instinctively try to claim credit for every success (and assign blame for every failure), so they immediately assume Bush is doing the same thing.

Any careful reading of his words puts the lie to that idea:

The work that was done by intelligence communities during my presidency was part of putting together the puzzle that enabled us to see the full picture of how bin Laden was communicating and eventually where he was hiding.

Notice where he’s giving the credit: to the intelligence communities. Not to himself. Did that work happen on his watch? Yes, of course it did. Even so, he’s careful to state that the intelligence work during his presidency was part of – not all of – the effort.

What you don’t see in there: how this was HIS work, and how this was HIS plan. Unlike Obama, Bush is a humble person, which is yet another reason why this accusation is completely unbelievable.

Gosh, ya know, the way this whole thing is going, by November 1, 2012 (just before the election) it will be revealed by Jay Carnival that Obhammud actually had called in the entire intelligence community, along with good ol’ Leon and, of course, Eric the Liar (just to make sure it was all legal and above board), and told everyone in the overflowing room that he’d just spent many sleepless nights working on the problem, and pointed to an enlarged map of Pakistan, right at Abbottabad, and said forcefully, “This is where you’ll find that evildoer bin Laden. Seal Team 6, stick around and we’ll go through the specifics of how you’re going to take him out. Everyone else is excused, and remember, not a word of this is to be said to anyone not in this room, or you’ll answer to me!”

And with that he’ll set up a triumphal entry into D.C. very reminiscent of Julius Caesar’s into Rome…

But what’s scariest of all is that there are actually people out there who vote who would buy this entire scenario hook, lie and stinker.

The thing that gets me is that in some circles the won is already being given credit for the killing. SEAL team six was only there for back-up just in case.

Obama is such a small man. He reluctantly gave credit to the SEALs while spouting his usual I, Me, My refrain. He has never been the least gracious to his predecessor, he has only blamed Bush for his own failures. Even his stance on leaving Iraq is actually on Bush’s time table, and Obama takes credit for that. Just unbelievable.

Libs have to be able to hold two completely opposite positions at the same time. Example? The preciousness of life! They believe that the death penalty is wrong partially because there could be a chance that despite 15+ years of appeals we might, maybe, possibly execute an innocent person. But the unborn deserve no day in court. Even viable infants can have their brains pierced and sucked out while in the womb, solely at the whim of their ” mother”. No trial, no legal process, because it is the woman’s right to choose. Also no impediment may be applied against any woman’s right to decide and the father of the infant also has no legal right to appeal for the life of his not yet born child.

Two completely opposite positions. The guilty after lengthy appeals should not be killed on the chance they might actually be innocent but a completely without a doubt most innocent among us, an infant, deserves no consideration, no legal protections and may be destroyed on the whim of the womb holder…

Why must you guys be so angry all the time. I’m so tired of this every liberal is stupid,they are all liars,Obama is full of himself, liberals only take credit for the good things that happen not the bad crap. When a republican gets in office they will do the same thing. They are all polititians people. They all just tell us what they think we want to hear and America falls for it. Yes I am a democract but I’m not going to do as most republicans do and say that everything that the democrats do is right and everything that the republicans do is wrong. This is the problem with America right now. We spend more time trying to find a reason not to like the President in office and ruin his presidency if he’s not for our side (not just Obama, any President we get it happens) instead of trying to find a way to fix our problems. I’m not saying that Obama is always right but jeez, this is getting to be unnecessary. Yes Bush screwed up the economy, yes Obama added some too. It is not all one persons fault, but in my opinion Obama was making an effort to fix the mess. If a republican is in office next let’s just see if they can do a better job. But if they don’t I really don’t want to here that it’s Obama’s fault since we are taking so much flack for saying it’s Bush’s fault right now. Right now everyone (Dems and Repubs) are all acting like a bunch of juveniles “it’s not my fault, he did it first teacher”,”I lost the election so I’m going to make sure he doesn’t succeed, I’ll show them”. This is ridiculous.
