Busy day writing today; now it’s time to settle in for a good dinner and catching up with a couple of TV shows. I really liked the premier episode of “Person of Interest.”I hope the series holds up and gains an audience.

Spent the afternoon at work. I’m finding it ironic (and irritating) that technological developments used to be labor-saving devices. Today I updated my webpage, posted homework online, and checked e-mail constantly because texting the cryptic message “my son needs help so call me soon” at midnight Friday is much better than calling during the 10 hours I work every weekday.:((

On the flipside, I’m looking forward to an online class about new technology. I’m not a technophobe (obviously), but but sometimes it interferes with enjoying everyday life. Case in point: Today an enormous flock flew overhead when I was walking with a friend. By the time she pulled out her earbuds, she missed the amazing sound of thousands of wings fluttering in unison. Searching “huge flock of birds” on YouTube just doesn’t give the same experience!

Heading to church with a friend. We’re visiting Moody Church to hear Erwin Lutzer preach. I read his book “When a Nation Forgets God: 7 Lessons We Can Learn from Nazi Germany”. Its a powerful commentary on what happened then and the eery parallels today. Highly recommend it!

Can’t wait to hear him speak!

Cam is going to have to learn how to pull his team on his back and win tough games. Decent showing, but no one remembers who comes in second.
