Weekend Open Thread

Getting ready to head out and try to have a productive day for a change, unlike my last several.

Small request: Please keep in your thoughts and prayers all those who were impacted by the deadly tornadoes that have touched down in roughly nine states in the past couple of days.   Close to 40 are confirmed dead, with many more injuries.  Overnight here in Charlotte, a tornado touched down just minutes from where my mom and dad live.  I”m overwhelmed with relief that they were not in the line of danger. The damage was on a smaller scale than the destruction that happened to Henryville, IN, but nonetheless it was still devastating.   Much damage, including several homes lost, are being reported.  Thankfully here I’ve only heard of a few injuries reported, no deaths as of yet.  Hope it stays that way.
