Apparently Doobie Wasserman Schultz never watch the early days of SNL when she claimed “I don’t know any woman in America that thinks that being called a slut is funny.”

Dan Aykroyd’s line “Jane, you ignorant slut!” may very well be one of the funniest lines ever uttered on SNL.

Seems like the ones that chirp the loudest are the biggest offenders. Whatever happened to the Golden Rule?

  3. Carlos says:

Nice, especially right after the Limbaugh brouhaha.

Would it be ok to call some of those examples media sluts? Seems terribly fitting, somehow, since they are prostituting themselves for press coverage and echo-chamber kudos.

  4. Ken66 says:

All this because a few liberals are too cheap to by a relatively inexpensive bottle of pills once in a while. Not much on the market is cheaper than condoms either.

    I say,
    Pay your own way.

It seems the squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease. The left, who cross the line on a regular basis, doesn’t think it’s inappropriate language unless someone says it to them. Disparaging and spewing vile remarks against Conservative women can go on all day long… not a peep! However, when the language is scooped up and slung back–they whine and cry and act insulted. The interesting thing here is that they yell the loudest, so they are the ones who make the headlines.

People like Bill Maher, what is his talent? …does anyone know? shouldn’t be on the air. However, I learned from Andrew Breitbart’s website that HBO already has done plenty to smear and slander Sarah Palin. And just what about all the so-called documentaries [that are nothing but propaganda garbage] that Michael Moore releases, even though very little is based on fact or truth. Libs hate the truth.

Some of us are tired of the double standard: they can say and do whatever they want/we are to have our feet held to the fire. The media is to blame.

  6. govt_mule says:

Hilary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Nancy Pelosi, and Michelle Malkin are public figures. Ms. Fluke is a private citizen who expressed her opinion about insurance coverage.

I’m pretty sure you understand the difference between a one-line comment on a public figure (such as those cited in your Exhibits) and a lengthy, prurient, personal attack on the character of an individual citizen. I’m pretty sure you understand that there is no valid comparison between Limbaugh’s attack on Fluke and brief comments made by leftist commentators about right-wing public figures. Your deliberate choice to ignore this difference is puzzling.

  7. Severian says:

Miss Flukebceased to be a private citizen when she voluntarily decided to step up and act as a mouthpiece for the hard left and Dems in Congress, all the while lying about both the university’s policy wrt BC for health reasons and the cost of contraception.

Contrast how many of you hand wringers are whining about this, with how many of you leftist tools reacted when Joe the Plumber had the temerity to ask The One an embarrassing question that got picked up by the media. And had his private govt records rifled thru, published, and the abuse he took. And he didn’t voluntarily get up in front of a Congressional event to willingly grab the limelight.

    Govt_ass is more like it…

The whole issue is government mandating private business to supply something that is purely optional. Birth control pills are something you choose. You do not need them for a chronic medical condition, unless you are chronically pregnant. I also would like to understand how some segments of the public, such as labor unions, are getting a pass from Obama to cover this stuff. This is purely to save money, not on moral grounds. So why isn’t Ms. Fluke castigating labor union insurers?

The problem is that society has so disassociated sexual intercourse from its true purpose. We have an educated society that understands how one becomes pregnant.

My questions to Ms. Fluke….Have you ever heard of Planned Parenthood? They will give you free birth control if you qualify and on a sliding scale if you have income. They are a left leaning organization and she should be on their case to supply it for free to all! What? No righteous indignation at them?
