They may not campaign as vigorously as they did in 2008, but that’s immaterial because Obama is more of a known quantity now than he was four years ago. Besides, the MSM will take up the slack and campaign harder for him.

They may not donate as much as they did in 2008, but the Obama money machine will make it up through more fundraisers in places like Hollywood, and by again disabling the address validation system for donations on their web site. More untraceable and illegal cash will roll in from places where Obama has pledged to be more “flexible” (and who knows what promises he’s made to other enemy nations when the microphone wasn’t turned on). And if worse comes to worst, there’s always George Soros to funnel money to his super-PACs under the table.

So it comes down to whether they’ll vote for him or not. And they will. By November, the Obama campaign will be working the angles of fear (to scare them into voting for Obama) or racism (by hinting they’re racists if they don’t vote for Obama), or else appealing to the usual emotional and mindless themes that always appeal to the left, like class warfare.

So this nonsense talk from Nutroots Nation is laughable at best. The GOP shouldn’t get too comfortable listening to any of this. The Romney campaign need to assume every one of these loons will obediently vote two or three times for Obama, and use their energies and resources accordingly.

The part that strikes me most is that the raving lunatic Van Jones believes defending Trayvon Martin, with absolutely no knowledge of the facts, is the laudable act of a “progressive.” Really? Am I missing something?
