I like him a lot and think he’ll make a great president one day, but, in this cycle, I’d rather he stayed a strong voice in the Senate and that Romney choose a governor.

I dont want anyone who wants to push the Dream Act down the throats of Americans. By picking Rubio now, Romney would be doing the same thing that Obama did by claiming he now has the power to give Illegals Amnesty and work permits. Just who is going to do the background checks on these 800,000 or more Illegals. And since when is a 30 year old considered a young person. I’d bet there are many 20 to 30 year old hispanic Illegals now with three or four children of their own living her illegally just like they started out. We know hispanics have big families and many are on the dole. Do we need hundreds of thousands more now soon to qualify for benefits and perhaps jobs that Americans might want? Obama said before obamacare was passed that Illegals wouldn’t get healthcare. Want to bet on that? We know how Obama will say anything that sounds good at the time. Just as he said a year ago, he didn’t have the power to give amnesty to Illegals. Well guess what folks, we now have an emperor instead of a president. My choice would be to call Obama a dictator just like his friend Hugo Chavez. Where are the politicians with the balls to challenge Obama’s authority on his immigration decree? Anyone willing to speak out now would get my vote for VEEP pick.

It is unlikely the choice of a running mate will be pushed all the way to convention time as McCain did in ’08 after seeing how that played out. It is early yet and, as with the outcome on Obhammudcare, everyone is simply guessing along with everyone else. It is a lot like a football team; plug the players in where they are the most beneficial to the team effort (think Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, etc.)

Romney & Rubio: Two empty suits with pretty faces who deserve each other and who stand for nothing. Obama may pull this out, yet, and I blame Rove and the Bushes for their allergy to true patriots. Sorry, not drinking the Kool-Aid. As Michael Savage has pointedly stated: What does Romney stand for? Neither Romney nor Rubio gave anything close to a principled rebuttal of Obama’s amnesty decree…. And, why not? Because they AGREE with Obama — perhaps not in style, but in substance. The American people are worse off than anyone dare admit.

Rubio is a husbanderer and war monger just like the fool McCain. My advice is ignore this little Amnesty Freak for the VP role. No matter what Phineas may think, Rubio’s birth situation is also very cloudy and may make him ineligible for POTUS.
