QOTD: Mitt Romney zings NBC’s Brian Williams on veepstakes question

Brian Williams, the sonorous news anchor for NBC News, was reading from a script when he asked Romney, the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, if it’s true he’s seeking an “incredibly boring white guy” for a running mate.

“You told me you were not available,” Romney replied, laughing.

“Touche,” Williams said, losing the trail on that line of questioning.

Love it. Then again, I do remember seeing some clips from Romney pressers during his time as Governor of MA. and enjoying how he handled the press. That is something we definitely need in the next Republican President. Score one for Team Mitt.
