I’d have preferred Jindal, for several reasons, but Ryan is a great choice. Put him in charge of a task force on entitlement reform, and this mess will be fixed in one year.
- The lights will be burning late at Gestoppo headquarters. They’ll be forced to dip even further into their depleted campaign funds to grease some palms for any remotely plausible dirt they can dig up on him.
- The only surprise we might look for is Jug ears camp may panic at the thought of a hair plugs / Ryan debate with the economy still in disaster mode and shift gears, but probably not at this late in the game.
(btw ST – you’re welcome. :))
Ryan will be a solid pick but with the state of the nation in such peril it is hard to imagine who would be an undesirable choice. One point to consider is if Joe Biden says something in the forest but no one hears, do the trees still laugh?
Hold the phone! NBC is reporting this? Given their penchant for playing fast and loose with the truth and being in bed with Obhammud, this VP story is best regarded as a bald-faced lie or a bit of junior high gossip until witnessed first hand or obtained from a more reputable source.
Ryan understands economics, and the business of America is business!
Wisconsin continues to lead the way!! Here at home, we love Paul Ryan….he’s a man who is not afraid to lose his job by being honest! I just might make my very first campaign contribution ever, today! Could it be that America really does have hope???
