Phineas: Don’t be so damn pessimistic; Rasmussen has Linda McMahon up 3 points over Demoncrat Murphy for the Senate seat presently Occupied by Lieberman. Talk about earthquake material and what it could mean for BamBam.

Agreed on the pessimism. I’ll take my mom’s advice and cross everything I have two of. There are millions more like me that have had enough of this snake oil sales pitch of Obhammud’s. In trying to reclaim the aura he attempts to project, he should have done like bin Laden and dyed his gray in an effort to seem relevant.

I live in Nevada and am a little bit worried about the Dean Heller race. Shelley Berkley hits him with non-stop negative ads, most of which have to do with votes or stances on issues. Heller hits Berkley with negative ads which suggest she is corrupt. To the extent that Heller addresses “issues,” mostly it has been in a mushy, “moderate” manner. He certainly has not been making a case explaining or defending his votes on the Ryan budget plans. So far he’s just let Berkley attack him for voting on it. To the extent he’s responded, he calls her ad untrue or dishonest, but doesn’t go into detail. I’m worried that he hasn’t gone on the offense yet about things like her votes for Obamacare, higher taxes, more regulations, and wasteful government spending. Maybe this will change soon–I hope so, but until it does, I’m concerned about the dynamics of this race shifting.
