(Video) Mitt Romney vs. The Incredible Shrinking President

Bill Whittle nails it in this video: In 2012, the candidates at the top of their respective tickets have made very different bets about the nature of the American people, and that difference is revealed in the choices each has made about who they pick for their running mate and how they run their campaigns. Romney has bet everything that Americans are still responsible adults who can face facts and make intelligent decisions as free citizens of a democratic republic. President Obama, on the other hand, assumes we are now nothing but infantilized wards happy to live in a super-sized European nanny state, concerned only that the “free pie” keeps coming.

PS: Romney-Ryan 2012, because too much free pie is only going to make us sick.

After the RNC some things have become more clear. First, the commiecrats are running scared more so than before the GOP primary was over. Next, the polls too many are dependent upon as a crutch for making political commentary are nothing more than statistical lies. And last, the choice between the two parties was never more stark. As pointed out in Dante’s “Inferno”, the hottest spots in hell are reserved for those who seek to remain neutral when faced with a moral dilemma.

Whittle nailed it alright. Still, as I said on another post, the MSM are doing everything they can to sink Romney’s chances, and the reactions to his speech, as well as all the others (incuding Clint’s), are but previews of what is to come. I can’t say I’m surprised by it, but I’m nonetheless especially disappointed by Tom Brokaw’s comments. To assume that the American people are sophisticated enough to see past all the left-wing propaganda in the MSM and elsewhere is indeed a huge gamble. I hope and pray it pays off.

A lot of folks are already “sick” of all the “free” pie; hence, the TEA party movement.
