The MSM has its own open-mic moment

Shades of Journolist. MSM reporters are caught on tape coordinating their questions for Mitt Romney at today’s press availability on the North African crisis:

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: …pointing out that the Republicans… *unintelligible* …Obama….

CBS REPORTER: That’s the question.

CBS REPORTER: Yeah that’s the question. I would just say do you regret your question.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Your question? Your statement?

CBS REPORTER: I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on…

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say ‘but this morning your answer is continuing to sound…’ – *becomes unintelligble*

CBS REPORTER: You can’t say that..

CBS REPORTER: I’m just trying to make sure that we’re just talking about, no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?

Odd. Secretary Clinton and President Obama weren’t forced to answer questions, coordinated or not, at their press “conference.”

Must be an oversight.

Yep, it was an oversight, alright.

The oversight was that, in at least 16 years of school those yahoos never had to learn integrity (not something one is born with, BTW), curiosity or impartiality.

But then, their profs in college probably were the spawn of previous socialist profs, too…

It has not escaped notice that the LSM has started attempting to show some sense of balance in their coverage of the coming election but it is only because the facts are inescapable. We are not better off than we were $5 trillion ago. But coupled with stunts like this and the backdrop of how they have coddled, fawned over, helped elect, and protected the worst president in this nation’s history should serve as lesson enough that a leopard never changes its spots.

  3. Drew the Infidel says:

In view of this evening’s developments in the embasssy murders in Libya, it would boost the LSM’s professional image (about which they care nothing) if they focused their indignation and criticism on Obhammud’s tepid mealy-mouthed response to the tragedy (and Islamic culpability) instead of Romney’s measured remarks which were much more presidential in their tone and substance.

  4. Joseph says:

This is a coordinated effort by The One’s cohorts in the drive-by media to change the narrative from one of Obama incompetence to Romney recklessness. For the time being at least, it appears to be working. We can only hope, and pray, it won’t last.
