The most frightening thing about all this is that we have seen, without any doubt, that there is no longer a free and independent press in this country. The MSM have willingly allowed themselves to be taken over by the Democratic Party to be used for political propaganda – to edit/invent news to give the Democratic Party the best possible appearance and to give any opponents the worst possible appearance.
Since one of the key components of a free and democratic society is a free and independent press and we have lost that, I fear our country is now on a very, very slippery slope toward totalitarianism.

For all the talk at the moment about reforming the GOP, without a change in the MSM, any change in the GOP will meet with failure. The worst thing that could happen, and probably will happen, is that the power players in the GOP decide they have to start pandering to the MSM again (if they ever stopped), returning us to a choice between Dems and RINOs.

What did the election change? Nothing, only to set the stage for things to get worse. Obhammud, Pelosi, Reid, Boehner, et al are still in the same slots. There are calls for working across the aisle. So, what else is new? Nothing. It is like a football team; you play the way you practice.

As intended. The whole intent of the program is to collapse the insurance industry so that Fed.Gov rides to the rescue and we end up with single payer NHS.

Perhaps the ACA will need some revision, as we will discover as it rolls out. We had to start somewhere to reform our health care and health insurance system, because our per capita costs are the highest in the developed world, producing outcomes that are below expectations and below the performance in other developed countries.
At least the Dems have attempted to address this problem, HillaryCare and ObamaCare. What have the Repubs done. Ignoring this challenge is not a solution!

My 19-year-old daughter eloquently stated….OMG, the world is going to end. Only one of my friends voted for Mitt Romney, at least one person has not lost their mind! All of the others voted based on gay marriage, and really unimportant issues. What about voting for issues that affect the country and not just yourself!
So there is hope out there folks…we need to articulate to young people what issues belong to a national referendum and what are strictly social and self serving.

My prediction is that, by the end of 2013, at least 10% of the doctors here in the United States will have retired or moved out of the country.
Then what will happen is the Democraps will start blaming all those racist doctors who are trying to get our Glorious Leader’s centerpiece of socialism to fail simply because he’s a man (?) of color, and it will have nothing to do with the fact that the doctors’ pay was cut in half by congressional/executive fiat.
Good luck with finding a doctor by the end of next year…especially if you don’t have insurance, or are on Medicare/Medicaid.
