Good point Perry, we should sit quietly and wait patiently for our moral and intellectual betters to decide what we should know and when. Asking questions while credible journalists (whatever you mean by that odd turn of phrase) assiduously dig for facts from the Andrews AFB food court as the President golfs risks everything this nation was built upon.

Don’t want the peasants to get uppity, do we? Demanding answers from a stonewalling administration that’s been caught in lie after lie? Why, it mocks the whole basis of representative and accountable government!

Holder? The Teflon President and his matching AG will never get a scratch from the MSM…they will be able to go on without a care in the world. It’s all about how things look and not about what is going on below the surface.

Broadwell had boxes and boxes of classified documents that the FBI couldn’t wait to get back…what does she know? What is she holding back and did the book deal cover up more clandestine activities?

My guess, Perry, is that, with the recent re-election of the Obfuscator-in-Chief, there will be about the same amount of noise made and conclusions come to as we’ve seen with the F&F “investigations.”

Obviously, I’m not putting much stock in the sound and fury emanating from the House right now. Those in charge have way too much to lose if they rock the boat too much, and besides, if the investigations lead to the dishonorable dismissal of our current CiC, look who they’d have to deal with then!

Can’t you folks at least wait until hearings occur with witnesses under oath testifying?

Moreover, is it possible that all your conspiracy theorizing is an extension of a mindset which would behave behind the curtain as you are assuming the current principals are behaving?

Be patient, for god’s sake! You can be assured that credible journalists and credible media will learn and report on this “Benghazigate” issue.

Obama and his administration are trying to systematically discredit out military, from the top down. Anyone who thinks the timing of the release of this information is ‘coincidental’ is dillusional… This has been a very well planned and orchestrated ‘reveal’ – All designed to make the public lose confidence in our military, and to take any blame for the Benghazi massacre away from Obama. Blaming the attacks on some obscure film maker’s amateurish video about mohammad didn’t seem to be working, so “let’s bring out the dirt we’ve collected on Petraeus and Gen. John Allen” and see how that goes!

As was pointed out on “The Factor” last night, it’s a little scary that the director of the CIA couldn’t keep this whole thing a secret?

But I suspect this has all become public because Obhammud was becoming nervous about whether Petraeus was a loyal soldier, and had this info for a time, waiting for the right time to use it.

It’s also my guess that the admin has even more damaging info against Petraeus, and that’s why he’s not talking any more and not going to testify. If Petraeus really was a “stand-up” guy, he’d go to the hearings, spill all the info about who and when, and save at least a shred of his honor.

Do they even KNOW the truth?

We have 4 of our brave Americans dead in Benghazi, but the only thing that the stoopid media carries is the news of Gen. Patraus’s affair. COME ON.

They will muddy the waters over and over again because it works. EVERY TIME.

OTOH, it is getting to be such a circus, it’s almost laughable. Quick, look over there…squirrel. While I don’t think it will ever happen, it would be interesting to have a special prosecutor appointed to investigate, however, the WH doesn’t want the truth to come out. Period.

I realized something this AM while listening to the local radio station on my way to work: This is another one of Obama’s wag-the-dog moments, and the mainstream media is (as usual) helping the delegator-in-chief distract the nation from the real issues by keeping this in the news. Back when Clinton was jumping on anything that moved, all we heard was, “It’s only sex, get over it.” But with an economy in ruins and about to get worse…well, this sex scandal was just in time to get people thinking about something else.

- Info has leaked from inside sources to FOX news that the CIA was using the annex as a prison/interrogation cell. Three Libyan militants, possibly some other prisoners from N. Africa and/or the ME, and those same sources say that inside the agency its believed the attack on the Consulate was initiated to try to get those prisoners back.

- So that offhand remark by Broadwell at the conference a few days back is looking real.

- CIA and Justice are not responding to questions.

The infatuation Broadwell had for Petraeus was thinly veiled in her biography of him, “All In: The Education of General David Petraeus”. It was hard to miss. There are so many theories and so much countervailing logic involved in this soap opera only one thing is certain. Petraeus was porking Broadwell.
