Sunday Football Open Thread: Bucs at #Panthers

The Panthers take on the Bucs today here at home, and after the embarassing loss we had playing the Broncos, I’m hoping we’ll rebound this week. But am not optimistic. I actually stopped watching the game midway through the 3rd quarter last Sunday – something I almost never do. We have to do better today.

Today’s game is on at 1 pm ET and will be broadcast on Fox in this area.

My office pool picks for the week:

Dolphins (L)
Bucs
Rams
Bengals
Cowboys
Texans
Redskins
Packers
Falcons
Saints
Broncos
Patriots
Steelers
49ers (42 points total game score)

  1. Once again Cam & Co. was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Oh well, at least they didn’t have a national title game in line, on the line, like my choking Ducks. I suspect Mariota and maybe a couple of receivers read all about how good they are and figured they didn’t have to play the game, showing up was enough…

  2. I’m sorry, but that’s it for me—time for Rivera to go, the guy’s too conservative on 4th down. As Carlos said, we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. Oy vey!!! :((

  3. The Cowboys and their inebriated fans think they really accomplished something today beating Cleveland 23-20 in OT. To squirrel a victory being taken to overtime by a two-win team is accomplishment? I’m dusting off my resume. I’ve forgotten more football than “Red Jesus” will ever know.
