Yellow journalism at its best or worst depending upon your point of view. We no longer watch NBC News because we do not trust them. Obviously NBC has an agenda and it certainly is not to honestly and fairly report the news.

NBC is part of NBC Universal, which is now owned by Comcast (51%) and GE (49%).

Customers, and especially shareholders, of these two companies should let the managements know their feeling about the irresponsible way in which their media joint venture is being run.

NBC was whistling past the graveyard by sacrificing three low-level employees whose firing was never verified after it was announced. Personally, whether he pays his legal bills or lives it up with the money is beside the point; my bottom-line wish is he slaps their a*s unmercifully all over that courtroom.

In NBC’s opinion, it can’t be libel if a) it promotes their point of view and b) if it’s politically correct.

Never mind what their “professionals” do to “news” on a daily basis; if they say something, ANYTHING, it’s the responsibility of their listeners to believe and not question it.

Besides, they did apologize. In the dark of a weekend night when neither one of their viewers was paying attention…
