The lesson for the bishops is that liberals/statists can’t be trusted. But there’s not a chance in the world they’ve learned that. That group will continue on their merry way ignoring biblical admonitions against theft and supporting the theft by government of onerous taxes, thus becoming accessories to that theft.

And “Christmas came early?” Heck, Christmas came when Duh-1, Pelousy and Dingy jammed the bill down everyone’s throats, making Duh-1 Santa Claus until the entire thing gets thrown out eventually. The difference between Santa and Duh-1, though, is that Santa is fictitious, while we poor working stiffs have to live (and pay) with the reality of an obnoxious thief whose primary goal in life is the destruction of everything that made this country great to begin with, thus fulfilling the “dream of his father.” Even enriching himself with our taxes and being a thug is secondary to that.

The bishops totally supported ObaminableCare in the fight leading up to its very regrettable approval, and then the Administration turned right around and double-crossed the Church, stabbed them right in the back.

You just can’t trust those people.
