Doesn’t have to have been partying with Pelousy or any other moonbat, Drew. Everything he says is provable by geologic record.

Howsomeever, what does any of that have to do with AGW? Seems to me that that’s where moonbat arguments fall off the charts because we can prove warming and cooling in the past, places on earth uninhabitable now that were at some distant time past lush forests (how else to explain oil fields in Alaska?), and they would be very hard pressed to prove that the cause of every warming cycle was man-caused, since man wasn’t even around for the majority of them (geologically speaking).

The only way they can keep the narrative going is by screaming the loudest and longest, and threatening the most savagely. Fear has an amazing ability to cause the human mind to accept the most illogical of all things, and the loony left knows it. That’s why all the fearmongering, from Obhammed, from Algore, from “scientists” whose very sustenance depends on government funding, and from envirowhackos whose primary goal isn’t “saving” the environment but gaining control over all the peons out here not smart enough to know how to live their lives without instructions from the elite educateds.

Global warming is real. Everyone living on land that once was under glaciers and ice sheets (like Long Island and Chicago, Paris and London) knows that for a fact!

In geological terms, and time scales, it is inevitable that the icecaps will melt and sea levels will rise. And one day, a major volcano will erupt and explode, fill the sky with hundreds of millions of tons of ash and smoke, and the planet will cool down again and the snows will fall for hundreds of years.

The geologic record doesn’t lie. We have fossils that prove that the American Midwest was once under a massive sea, and that the Med was once a thriving plain, that the Sahara was once savanna, and that ancient nomads once walked across the Bering Plateau.

This is how the left constantly advances their arguments which ultimately lead to laws advancing their policies. One of their academics will stake out an extreme and outrageous position. Main stream politicians and more “reasonable” commentators will poo-poo the extreme idea while voicing sympathy for a less extreme position along the same path. Like the directions on a bottle of shampoo, they “rinse and repeat” over and over until the earlier disavowed extreme position becomes the norm. Think how the tactic worked with “gay marriage.” 50 years ago every and any serious politician would have laughed at the notion. Even those on the far left would scoff at a “slippery slope” argument (as they still do). Yet, here we are. Come out publicly against gay marriage and you’re instantly a pariah. 50 years ago only the most stridently radical were openly hostile to Christianity in the public sphere. Yet, look at where we are now.

I think we have reason to fear this professor. He is in the Left’s vanguard and they WILL go where he suggests if they’re not actively and vigorously resisted. This is not a laughing matter.

I find these sort of people odd and laughable. He is so concerned about the hundreds of thousands of future people, but you have to ask why. When one of the current causes of the maniac left is population growth. Why do you care about future generations when you are just going to kill them anyway?!?!?! The thinking makes no sense. Let us do what we can, recycle, be concerned with our enviroment, but some of these lunatics would have no problem with the “Logan’s run” final solution. Of that I am sure. – Lorica

This professor sounds like an islamic extremist making it a safe bet that had Breivik killed Muslims we would be hearing a different tune altogether. No one has ever seen an Al Gore invention but many have listnend to them.
