@Sam: Please tell me what exactly Sarah Palin has done to deserve the scorn heaped upon her by people like D-list Tina?

She didn’t finish her term as guvner because she had to, out of her own pocket, defend herself against scurrilous people digging through her past and coming up with nothing but poor soap and unfounded accusations. It was approaching the millions of dollars when she quit, a sum neither she nor her family could afford, and the state couldn’t by law defend her or pay for her defense. And in such suits, it’s not a “loser pays” situation in Alaska.

And as a final comment, sir, the only reason John-John got as many votes as he did was because of Sarah. Had the Repubs put forth a candidate who believed and lived Republican principles, that candidate would have won. As it was, people like you flocked to the real Democrap because, face it, who wants a Democrap lite?

Had Sarah not been on the ticket, the race would have been over sooner than it was.

Sarah has been a lightening rod, attracting the vitriol of the left for stating obvious facts.

Her resignation as Governor is further proof of her integrity and honor. Every single suit brought against her was dismissed. Remaining as Governor would have been a tremendous drain on the state. The socialist-progressive-leftist-Democrats are usually interested in the ends justifying the means, and “integrity” and “honor” are punch lines for jokes at their exclusive parties.

Please tell me what exactly Sarah Palin has done for the country? I not saying that she is a bad person but what actually has she done for the country too deserve such loyalty from people outside of her community? She didn’t even finish her tenure as governor. Instead she did a reality show. Honestly she is the reason I did not vote for John. She lost him the election and help set the Republican Party back. If she was truly thinking of the country and the party she would have been honest about her strengths and weaknesses and turned down the job.

I half expected to see Tina Fey do a skit made up as Sarah during the recent Golden Globes telecast. And since Julianne Moore was a nominee for an award based on her mostly-fictional portrayal of Sarah in the abominable Game Changer film, I would not have been surprised if Julianne had also taken part in the skit made up as Sarah. However, given Hollywood’s recent penchant for doing sequels and prequels and remakes and reboots, obviously the creativity to do such a skit is lacking.

I think it would be fun to follow around Tina Fey and quote back her “Sarah Palin” lines at her until her face shows annoyance at how lame she is. Afterwards, thank “Sarah Palin” for listening and such before leaving. Maybe even do this for the next 5 years over Twitter or Facebook.

Being remembered for being a one-trick pony is “injury”. Being reminded that you are nothing but a one-trick pony everyday by the people you thought were laughing with you: simply beautiful “insult”.

Of course, the narcissistic Tina Fey would never stoop to consider how much Palin hates being mistaken for her. That’s the real insult–being mistaken for a rather dimwitted TV star who has to rely on constant reminders of who she plays in order to generate publicity.
