@alanstorm: Actually, one hears frequently soothing, common-sense words from Dear Leader (but never from his sycophants, minions or attack dogs), words like “a new tone of civility” and “compromise.”

Just before he begins with an attack rant and ideological screed that lets us peons know he really hasn’t gotten beyond the dangerous and puerile Alinsky tactics he loves so much.

I think he has a design that is not good for anyone and that design could possibly be he wants the welfare rolls to swell and dependency on the government to grow. In my humble opinion to a liberal beyond wanting power they believe that there is a new ten letter word for God and that is Government. I don’t believe liberals are benevolent creatures but malevolent creatures that not only want to rule over us but what us to worship them.

And Volvo shuttered the place in 2010? Must have been Booosh’ fault. I mean, no one could ever expect a jackass prez with a veto-proof jackass Congress to accomplish anything resembling a recovery for what Booosh left in only two years! Or even five!

And let us not forget it was a jackass Congress for the last two years of Booosh’ second term, too. It had to be Booosh’ fault!

Wonder if all the jobless that had jobs during Booosh’ terms will ever figure out it’s Congress, not the Prez, that determines whether we slide more into nanny socialism or not? The Prez can only sign or veto bills, he can’t pass them.
