Of all people, one who apparently understands Rubio best is Obama's old Marxist buddy, Van Jones:

Marco Rubio is dangerous for Democrats....Marco Rubio is to the heart what Paul Ryan is to the head. Paul Ryan is dangerous because the strength of his intellect. This is a smart guy, Marco Rubio, but when he connects, that last 90 seconds, Marco Rubio, he's dangerous.

Exactly so. When you listen to Rubio speak, you hear a deep and unwavering love of America, its people, and the systems that have brought us freedom and prosperity for so long. In short, he is an unabashed believer in American exceptionalism, unlike Obama. Obama has contempt for the average American "bitter clinger"; Rubio knows that We The People are what make America great, not the government bureaucracies. And he communicates that belief superbly, which is why Jones fears him so much. As Ive said here before, the last political figure who could express that much love for America that well was Ronald Reagan.

Aw, he was just proving that the EVIL!!!!! Republicans and conservatives (not the same thing, as most of you are aware) haven’t completed their drive to poison all our water supplies and make the skies completely murky with cancer-causing chemicals. They still have a long way to go, too, getting the local schools out of the sex-trade business and enslaving all women.

But they’re the kings of RAAACIIIISM!!!! Just ask any Democrap race-baiter or thug group like the NAACP or LaRaza.

Or the Prez, as far as that goes. He seems to know everything about everything.

Didn’t waste my time listening to Duh-1, either. If I wanted juvenile reaction to personal screw-ups I’d get my younger grandkids and talk to them and their friends, and probably have a much saner conversation to boot!

Last night’s episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” was more entertaining, Obhammud’s oratorical skills having deteriorated from the trite crap of which we have all grown tired. Rubio’s self-deprecating humor on “Fox & Friends” this a.m. was refreshing; he said he was thirsty from already having delivered the rebuttal in Spanish.

Nate’s right. If the leftists and statists had anything substantive to counter Rubio’s comments, they’d have used it. If they’re down to complaining that he took a drink of water, then they have nothing.

I, too, have disagreements with Paul and Rubio; I, too, would more than likely vote for either of them for President (short of Reagan coming back to life, that is). As for the water-bottle incident, of COURSE that’s all the Lefties have in their arsenal. They’re down to water-balloons.
