That line about bin Laden being dead and al-Qaeda on the run is one to which the commiecrats are stuck like a tar baby. After all, it was repeated 21 times at the DNC. It matters little what Obhammud says at this late date since he is trapped by his own words.

On the bin Laden raid, he had Admiral McCraven lined up as the fall guy if things went south. This time it is that poor schmuck who made the “non-event” video, in Hicks’ words; shaky alibi indeed.

He (Obhammed) could have used the Benghazi event for another glorious photo op, but unfortunately his first reaction (quite correctly, BTW) was that the event ran counter to their entire meme that they had al Qaida on the run. So, instead of stepping up to the bar and leading, he chose instead to get a good night’s rest knowing full well that it was more important to raise money for his upcoming re-coronation than to protect the lives of an American ambassador and three others (actually nearly 50 others, but who’s counting?). In nearly any case other than government that would be considered dereliction of duty, but not for the well-greased wheels of this government.

He is such a sorry excuse for a “leader,” just like the congressional “leaders” (both parties) voters keep sticking the nation with term-after-term.

Let us hope that when the truth comes out about Benghazi it wakes up all of the Americans who are sleeping while our country is taken over by Progessives. It is sad that our media is aiding and abetting the Progressives.

Benghazi is the Iran-Contra scandal on steroids.

The ‘consulate’ was another Obama gun-running op supplying US lethal arms to Syrian ‘rebels’ aka Al Queda. The US guns shipped to Mexico went to Islamist-run drug cartels to keep the flow of Islamist drugs and terrorists flowing into the US.

Obama and Hillary/Bill are in bed with the nastiest sorts. But what can you expect from Planned Parenthood’s pro-abortion darlings.

@Liz: Unless one is willing to defend oneself against the vilest of ad hominem attacks, against lies that have nothing to do with the question at hand, there is very little one can do. That is the way of the tolerant left, and even if one is willing to put up with their attacks, there is no guarantee that the low-information voter will pay attention to what the voice of reason and sanity says. Matter of fact, there is no guarantee that the local paper will publish a letter detailing the facts of this (or any other) set of misdeeds, or that your congresscritter or Senators will, either. For proof of this, when was the last time you read or heard anything negative about ObamaCare, about Gosnell, about Fast and Furious, about, yes, Benghazi? The “news” organizations are literally mostly cheering squads for the government, hardly the watchdogs the Founding Fathers envisioned.

As usual, you will probably end up “preaching to the choir.”

I’m not so sure about the “quickie” assessment. Watching the WH press conference right now the briefing room resembles a guppy pond and Carney’s tail fins are getting a real chewing. He’s thrashing around like a cat covering crap in a hot ash pile.

If it had been Billy Bub, you can be pretty sure the absence could have been explained by a blue-stained dress. Maybe for Obhammed it was poker night with the guys? We all know it was too late for a round of golf, and there were no NBA stars there for him to embarrass with his on-court prowess.

And Obhammed just can’t understand what all the fuss is about anyway, especially relating to him. That’s why he’s got all them dumb white guys runnin’ round all over, to do his job.
