VIDEO: Rep. @VirginiaFoxx gives moving speech on the sanctity of life on House floor

She’s not my Congresswoman, but I sure wish she was! Rep. Virginia Foxx from NC’s 5th Congressional District gave an incredibly moving speech on the floor of the US House yesterday in support of HR 1797 – the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which effectively bans abortions after the 20th week except in cases of rape, incest or the health of the mother.  Please watch:

Via Life News, which also notes that the bill yesterday passed “on a mostly party line vote.”

Rep. Virginia Foxx

”May we, in love, defend the unborn. May we, in humility, confront this national sin, and may we mourn what abortion reveals about the conscience of our nation.”

Thank you, Congresswoman Foxx, for standing up for the voiceless, the most innocent of all innocent life.

Have you noticed that, lately, it hasn’t been the darlings of the media that have been captivating our attention? It’s been people such as Rep Virginia Foxx, Louisiana State Sen. Elbert Guillory, and 11-year-old Zachary Maxwell (who made video doc entitled “Yuck: A 4th Grader’s Documentary About School Lunch”).

My hope is that each and every day will see more of these unknowns, or relatively so, come to the attention of our nation and begin a reversal in the direction of this nation.
It doesn’t seem as though our leaders are getting the job done!

If the decision to murder one’s child hasn’t been made by the twentieth week, why should society be forced to wait longer for the mother to make up her mind? It’s disgusting enough allowing infanticide to begin with.

Keep in mind the feminazis at whom Rep Foxx’s remarks are aimed are the very same ones that are dead silent on the islamist practices of forced underage marriages, “honor killings” of women, and female genital mutilation. During the Gosnell proceedings they were as rare as a hot day in January.

There are successful pre-natal surgeries practiced everyday, to correct complications that were life threatening years ago. A healthy mother is connected to her yet unborn by a very efficient natural system. Anyone that can talk about a “blob of tissue” lives in a new dark age.
