Posted by: ST on July 14, 2013 at 12:10 pm

There will be probably be a civil trial at some point, and expect Obama’s DOJ to do everything in their power to come down on Zimmerman any way they can, but for now, there is this.

Not Guilty

The verdict is in.

In a civil trial, the not allowed items can be used. Like TM being out of school because of fighting, the people he assaulted, the marijuana use, the gun photos and texts. Do they want all that out in public? Weren’t the parents already given $1M by the homeowners Association?

Exactly there is a great deal that protected the reputation of Martin. All of that will be allowed to be introduced. I believe I heard they there may be so e law suits from the Zimmerman side for unlawful harassment, civil rights violation, withholding of discovery, etc,. When you look at the big picture the parents just got over a million from the HOA in addition to whatever else they may own or have acquired. I believe by this point Zimmerman probably has nothing left. If I was Zimmerman I would definitely sue to prevent the martin family from profiting by book, Publications of any kind and movies and documentaries. He was found innocent by a jury they should not profit from his extreme burden of defending himself from what the government and extremist caused

So, the OJ verdict – a guilty man gets off and “his people” cheer and have celebrations. Essentially they were basking in the fact that “they beat the system”, regardless of innocence or guilt.

In the Zimmerman verdict – an innocent man rightly benefits from the way the justice/jury system is supposed to work and now “Trayvon’s people” are upset because this time they didn’t beat the system (through leftist extortion tactics).

The DOJ will no doubt file a civil rights lawsuit against Zimmerman because of one thing – “My People” Holder has already stated that only blacks are entitled to civil rights violation relief. I’m curious is to where the Hispanic community will fall on this… and where has their outrage been so far?

  4. ALman says:

On a blog, a post stated that under Fla. law there could be no civil one. No link or resource was provided.

Yes, we’ll most likely see more from “the monster” who’s running beserk in our land! Too bad they don’t devote as much energy on the crime in Chicago, or the waste in government, or the high unemployment rate among minorities.

  5. Jean says:

Denton exactly since Holder is black and he feels blacks are the only one who can claim civil rights violations what happens to the rest of America whose civil rights are trampled on daily. The rest of Americans have no one in office or an official capacity that looks out for or cares about their civil rights and liberties as afforded us in the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights

  6. Joy says:

If Florida law doesn’t allow a civil lawsuit, the President will just have to issue an Executive Order allowing civil lawsuits in Florida! That is the way he treats everything else.

  7. Neo says:

Apparently, Zimmerman can still get a hearing for “stand your own ground”, which would make him immune to state civil suits.

  8. Drew the Infidel says:

Zimmerman will be able to file a civil suit against the county since he was arrested and accuse but proven innocent.

The irresponsible racist media tried to inject race politics into the judicial system to achieve their desired verdict of guilty and it did not work; and not that they did not try everything to make it so. They basically were looking for a racial morality play.

There is a Biblical metaphor that applies here:

“Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; if it is, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed; but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”–Matthew 9:17

There will always be those who seek to distort the judicial process.

  9. Great White Rat says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if the DOJ got into this with a civil rights suit against Zimmerman. Anything to appease one of Obama’s base constituencies.

This entire case so far would have been a mockery of justice except for the jury, who did what the media and the White House never did: look at the evidence objectively Until then, it was a show trial worthy of some of the worst cases of the Soviet Union.
