Can’t make it up: Liberals accuse *conservatives* of overuse of the race card

Danger, danger! Time for a reality check, liberals.

Reality
A reminder for race-baiting liberals.

Sadly, liberal blogger Josh Marshall was indicative last night in expressing and agreeing with the line of thinking of several influential left-wing writer/commentator types on the issue of racism, and I called him out on it:

Needless to say, MSNBC’s serial race-baiter TourΓ© couldn’t help but get into the act as well, offering his .02 worth (if it’s even worth that much):

You really can’t make this stuff up. Think about it: Whenever a white conservative comments on issues like affirmative action, or even DARES to criticize “the first black President”, we’re accused of racism. Full stop. This is a tactic that liberals frequently use to shut down discussions on many issues that have NOTHING to do with race whatsoever. If you’re against ObamaCare you’re a racist. If you oppose raising taxes, you’re a racist. If you want to reduce the rate of future growth for social programs, you’re a racist. It goes on and on.

So, no Josh, TourΓ©, and other liberals who have benefited from playing the very card you laughably and ignorantly accuse conservatives of playing – you guys have set the “standard” of just what is and isn’t “acceptable” to be said by conservatives when it comes to racial topics and the President himself, which isn’t much. And you don’t do it because you’re “concerned” about the racial atmosphere in America. You do it because the idea of someone daring to have strong philosophical disagreements with this President and your party is so offensive to your delicate liberal sensibilities that you’ll do anything to shut down opposing viewpoints. By any means necessary, and all that. We won’t let you get away with it, however, and you hate that.

Keep trying, fascists. Ultimately, you won’t win.
