Kerry is a fine one to talk. During the Paris Peace Talks to end the Vietnam War (of which he was a reluctant and marginal participant), he twice met with the enemy North Vietnam delegation while still a member of the officer corps of the US Naval Reserve, an act of treason.

After the stellar performance of Hillary in implementing this newfangled “smart diplomacy,” we could only expect the multitalented (and self admitted war criminal) John Kerry to carry US influence to even greater heights!

Only thing that troubles me, unsophisticated slob that I am, is that the efforts of these Very Smart People appear to be a retrograde movement from the ones of the supposedly stupid warmongering cowboys of the Bush years. They keep telling us how much smarter they are, so why aren’t they doing a better job?

I think no matter what happens, Obama has accomplished his mission to fundamentally transform America…into a weak, pointless entity in the world. Sure we have power, but certainly a lot less prestige and influence.

Obama already blaming Congress and …

Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Congress set a red line when it indicated that in a piece of legislation entitled the Syria Accountability Act that some of the horrendous things happening on the ground there need to be answered for. So, when I said in a press conference that my calculus about what’s happening in Syria would be altered by the use of chemical weapons, which the overwhelming consensus of humanity says is wrong, that wasn’t something I just kind of made up. I didn’t pluck it out of thin air. There’s a reason for it.”

The Syria Accountability Act of 2003 is based on the same intelligence that got us into Iraq …

According to the Central Intelligence Agency’s ‘‘Unclassified Report to Congress on the Acquisition of Technology Relating to Weapons of Mass Destruction and Advanced Conventional Munitions’’, released January 7, 2003: ‘‘[Syria] already holds a stockpile of the nerve agent sarin but apparently is trying to develop more toxic and persistent nerve agents. Syria remains dependent on foreign sources for key elements of its [chemical weapons] program, including precursor chemicals and key production equipment. It is highly probable that Syria also is developing an offensive [biological weapons] capability.’’

… of course, “It’s Bush’s fault !”
