Disturbing: Trend emerges on Craigslist of women selling positive pregnancy tests

Wow. Just when you thought you’d heard it allΒ (via @BiasedGirl):

(CNN)Β — They say you can buy everything on the Internet.

The latest, uh, must-have appears to be positive pregnancy test results.

Women across the country are selling — and buying — them on Craigslist.

One post from Buffalo, New York, sums up the appeal for potential shoppers:

“Wanna get your boyfriend to finally pop the question? Play a trick on Mom, Dad or one of your friends? I really don’t care what you use it for.”

That particular test was going for the reasonable rate of $25 dollars. The tests in Texas seem to be slightly more expensive, at $30 a pop.

CNN responded to several ads across the country asking for comment, but received no response.

[…]

Another ad reassures buyers conscious of name brands, “This will NOT be a dollar store test. Will be either Clearblue First Response or EPT.”

Most ads found by CNN ended the same way, with sellers assuring potential customers “It isn’t my business what you choose to use it for.”

Sigh.

Sadly, this is yet another area where – due to the fact that some people (mainly narcissistic women) don’t have a freaking lick of common sense and human decency- we have to give vital tips to guys on how to avoid the scenario of being falsely accused of fathering a child. The first and foremost is: Β  Don’t sleep with a woman who comes across as deceptive. Full stop. Β However, most women don’t give off this vibe, so if you’re going to sleep with a woman, do NOT do it without protection. Β Insist on your partner being protected also. Β Secondly, if you suspect your s/o is lying about being pregnant, INSIST she perform another pregnancy test – either with you in the next room or with you both at the doctor’s office. Offer to pay for the drugstore test or the visit to the office itself if she protests about cost. Β  If she’s really NOT pregnant, she’ll come clean quickly once you make it clear you are serious about finding out the truth. Cover all the bases. Seriously. It’s sad it’s come to this, but you just can’t take enough precautions these days, both literally and figuratively speaking. Β Women talk often about how “disgusting” some guys can be, but this story just proves how utterly and disgustingly shameless some women can be.

We’ve come a long way, baby … not.

Really
Seriously?
