Shameful: Democrats leave hearing before testimony of #Benghazi victims’ families

Katie Pavlich nails it: It’s spitting on their graves.

During the second portion of a House Oversight and Government Reform hearing about Benghazi Thursday on Capitol Hill, the majority of Democrats on the Committee left the room and refused to listen to the testimony of Patricia Smith and Charles Woods. Ms. Smith is the mother of Sean Smith, an information management officer killed in the 9/11 Benghazi attack. Charles Woods is the father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, who was also killed.

It has to be the height of arrogance and the depth of depravity that such a national tragedy is being politicized. But this is the Obhammud pall cast over the Democrat party.

Because of Obhammud this country is split almost as intensely as it was in 1861, the start of the Civil War. His inability to relate to people as individuals and proclivity to assign blame have contaminated far and wide.

BTW, can you name his closest friend? There isn’t one. His dearth of social skills is the reason.

Well, it’s not like they really need to hear that testimony – their minds are already made up. Besides, it wouldn’t do their Dem-cred any good to be seen squirming uncomfortably in their seats.

Short answer, yes. For these statists, anyone who might stand in their way of accumulating more power deserves no respect, no decency.

hearing the testimony of these parents wouldn’t help their case at all – as Nate says, their minds are made up – and might pose some difficult questions. Far better to just ignore them. After all, the leftists are betting that no one will notice their disrespect, and if anyone does, they’ll simply regurgitate the line about the entire scandal being ‘phony’.

To be fair, this was much more respectful than their first plan.

Originally they were going to stay but ostenatiously put their hand over their ears and chant “LA LA LA I CAN’T HEAT YOU!!!!!!”

Truly despicable and as a Chicagoan, I expect nothing less than their blatant display of arrogance. I bet Reid was very proud of them and popped for a fine repast, of course, on the taxpayers dime.

My heart goes out to the families of the fine men that fought with valor to save their fellow Americans. One thing is for sure, we will never forget.
