Veterans should only act in large groups, and should actively remove all barriers to sites that are owned by The People of the United States.
The Government does not own these sites and we need to show them that we REFUSE to be pushed around and have our rights taken.

Folks, the jackasses in spin city east had best walk softly. Many of those WWII vets are dims as are their children, and their children’s children. If these folks, as well as, a substantial number of vets from other dust ups become angered, lots of dims could find themselves selling flowers on street corners after the midterms if they are not very careful.

It would be appreciated if everyone were kind enough to let their bottom feeding, parasitic, self serving representatives(term used lightly) and senators know that such behavior toward our veterans will not be tolerated.

Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) blasted House Democrats for killing a bill to “allow elderly, disabled WW2 vets to visit the WW2 Memorial.”

“Democrats are on a rampage,” he wrote on Twitter, later adding that “President Stompy Feet told Democrats to kill veterans funding.”

Rep. Stockman is being too kind. I’d just refer to him as “Stompy Foot.”

It isn’t like they are going there to vandalize the place as happened with the green paint thrown on the Lincoln Memorial, which has no controlled access either.

You thought the assorted acts of gangland behavior associated with Scandalabra were bad? This looks like icing on the cake.

The mid-terms are only a year away and voters have memories which can be refreshed just in time.

My Dad (1916-2009) was a WWII US Navy veteran. I am only thankful he is not around to witness this.

I’m not surprised, the only time Obama mentions the military veterans is when he is trying to get his own way. My husband is a veteran of 24 years and since retirement we have lost so many benefits that were promised and only looks to get worse. Veterans don’t expect a hand out, just what was promised.

All of the WWII vets in my family are now deceased. Perhaps that’s a good thing. I know one (in particular) who’d gladly confront any such threat of arrest.

During many of her speeches, it’s common for Sarah Palin to start off by thanking veterans for their service and asking them to stand and be recognized. Based on this, I think we can expect to hear from her on this latest outrage. And she will not sugarcoat her words. Mr. President, a trip to the woodshed is in your near future.

I understand that Rand Paul made the point that the Obama regime posted seven guards to prevent the veterans from visiting their memorial – and that was more guards than they provided to the consulate in Benghazi on 9/11/2012.

Then again, these are military veterans…which, according to Obama’s DHS, makes them all potential terrorists, unlike those jihadists.

I think it’s possible for this government to spend more money on shutdown. WWII vets wasn’t to visit their memorial? Time to post some guards and arrest people. I would not be surprised if the border patrol is increased to keep people out of the Grand Canyon.
