Remembering President #RonaldReagan on the 10 year anniversary of his death

Ronald Reagan cheers
Here’s to you, Mr. President.

Hard to believe it’s been 10 years since our beloved former President Ronald Reagan passed on. Β  While he is gone, he and his legacy – and his love for America – are certainly not forgotten.

Here’s probably my favorite speech he ever gave. So much of what he said in it applies to what’s going on today. It’s timeless. And so appropriately titled “A Time For Choosing“:

Here’s a transcript of that speech, delivered in support of Barry Goldwater, the 1964 GOP nominee for President.

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.” – Ronald Reagan, 1964
