After 26 Texas Christians Are Murdered, The Left Attacks … Prayer

Prayers
Thoughts and prayers…

As many Americans were in houses of worship on Sunday or preparing to watch an afternoon of pro football, at least 26 Texas Christians were murdered and at least 20 more were injured in a horrific mass shooting that took place during a morning church service in the small town of Sutherland Springs.

Via ABC News:

The attack began at about 11:20 a.m., after a suspect was seen at a Valero gas station in Sutherland Springs, dressed in all black, the Department of Public Safety said. The suspect crossed the street to the church, got out of his vehicle and began firing at the church, authorities said.

The suspect then moved to the right side of the church and continued to fire, before entering the church and shooting more, authorities said.

As the suspect exited the church, a local resident grabbed his rifle and engaged the suspect, after which he dropped his assault-type rifle and fled, authorities said.

Among the victims was church pastor Frank Pomeroy’s daughter Annabelle. She was 14. An 18-month-old-baby was the youngest victim.

Almost immediately after news of the attacks broke across the airwaves and social media platforms, calls for thoughts and prayers began to roll in from politicians and other public figures. This, oddly enough, angered the ‘compassionate’ left.

As we learn more about the deceased gunman and possible motivations, one thing is certain: The more the unhinged left lectures people of faith that thoughts and prayers “are not enough”, the more those same people of faith will keep family members and victims in their thoughts and prayers.

It’s just what thoughtful people do, whether they or not they are believers. They come together. They join hands. They cry on each other’s shoulders. And they pray.

Texan Kathleen McKinley explains it best:

Indeed, ma’am.
