Andrew Breitbart’s Legacy in Three Words: “Apologize for WHAT?”

Like many, I was stunned yesterday at the news of mega-conservative publisher and social media giant Andrew Breitbart’s untimely death at the age of 43. I spent most of the day Tweeting and ReTweeting comments from fans/friends and foes alike, many of who (on the fans/friends side) wrote amazing tributes at their websites about their time and interactions with him.  Some had only met him briefly, while others had a stronger connection through their mutual interests – mainly, fighting the left and their allies in the mainstream media on the all-important cultural frontlines......   [Read More]

I’m still exhausted from not getting enough sleep over the last few days (who can sleep when you’re in a city as beautiful and alive as DC?) and it’ll probably take me a few days to recover. .....   [Read More]

CPAC Day One: The Adventure

Well, day two of CPAC 2011 is officially underway and I’m just now getting to reflect a bit on the first day of activity. Two words: Awesome and overwhelming. There are so many good, dedicated, focused and driven conservatives here – it’s encouraging to see. I suspect that has something to do with the fact that conservatives are energized now more than ever thanks to the “shellacking” the GOP gave our celebrity President and his party last November. Have met so many awesome people here that it would be impossible to mention them all, and unfair to mention any because I know I’d leave someone out. .....   [Read More]
