This is rather sickening. This branch of the DoD had some managers downloading porn onto their government computers and got caught. Bye-Bye. Lost 100k per year jobs, and all benefits. I don’t understand the stupidity of doing assnine things like this. It really isn’t logical thinking.

Pornography is the fuel that runs the engine of Sex Addiction. Like all addictions, those in the throws of SA can lose all sense of moral boundaries. It starts with looking at a little porn on the internet, and progresses into a full-blown addiction, that is no different in it’s ‘craving’ for more and more than a crack addict looking for another rock. Is it any wonder that sex crimes against minors has risen to epidemic proportions when we are constantly assaulted with sexual situations every time we turn on the television, and porn sites are the most saturated single topic on the internet? I view TV with my 10 year old daughter – we watch ‘7th Heaven’ together – and find myself constantly changing the channel when the commercials come on previewing upcoming programs, as they are inappropriate for her viewing, mostly due to references to sex. And that’s just ONE channel on cable… We all know the old adage ‘Sex Sells’, and Hollywood has heard that message loud and clear and is selling, selling, selling. They have turned us into a country of voyeurs.

There is no excuse for this man’s behavior and I abhor what he attempted to do, but there are many thousands – maybe tens of thousands – more out there that have the same addiction, and more are being created every day. Like any pandemic, unless we look at the root cause(s) of this affliction, it will continue to infest our culture.

A statement issued by the sheriff’s office said Doyle contacted a 14-year-old girl whose profile was posted on the Internet and initiated a sexually explicit conversation. The “girl” was actually an undercover Polk County detective.

It said Doyle gave his office phone number and his government-issued cell phone number. He also was accused of using the Internet to send pornographic movie clips and having explicit sexual conversations in online chats with the supposed girl

How about firing the ass****!!! You can’t get even basic government clearance (“Q”) if you have significant debt! (conflict of interest and could be bribed). And yet here is an official in the watchdog dept of our government and he is a pedophile? I thought we republicans were all about family values, and high moral standards? WHEN are the citizens going to vote these hypocritical criminals and morally bankrupt morons out!

Really, what does it take for John Q. Public to see the incompetent, immoral, and criminal behavior in their midst?

Let me guess — Doyle has done many great things in his career/lifetime for our country and just because he had a moment of weakness we should not “throw out the baby with the bath water”. Well how would YOU feel if it was your 14 year old daughter who was a target of a 55 year old pervert? Is it still ok? If you say yes then maybe you need a kick in the a** too. Incidentally I did a little search on child prostitution/slavery in Atlanta; it is a HUGE problem, to the point that people fly in from other countries to “have” the child they “reserved” on the internet. Its pathetic that no one cares about this huge social issue. 150 some odd years after the civil war we still participate in trading humans as property, just now it is children. Whether it is the poor Russia or Asian women brought in as indentured servants to satisfy our “market” or our own children abandoned to the streets and pimps, or the disenfranchised and brainwashed polygamist/cultist we seem to not care much at all for our children. Talk about piss-poor performance on one of the best measures of the advancement and ethical/moral health of a society….if a society or culture does not value and protect its children then what does it value?

Why does no one stand up and say “Hey, this is BS we do not accept this behavior and will NOT tolerate it; you’re fired and going to jail; anyone supporting or defending you is also an ass*** and we do not want your or them leading, representing, protecting, or speaking for us.”

I guess my real question is where the hell is jerry falwell, pat robertson, jessie jackson, louis farrakan, and all the other zealots who are all over this stuff any other time? Hmmm…they must have went to the same “PYA” seminar the catholic priests did. After all the appearence of “goddliness” is much more important than actually making a stand.

CB he will be let go. It is a matter of timing, the leave he earned during his time with the Gov is his. Either it is paid lump sum or it is paid out as it is used. If they put him on leave, they will fire him eventually. Also, even tho I am certain he is guilty, it is really hard to fire someone just because they were arrested. Alittle thing about innocent until proven guilty. As far as the worlds religious leader since they are not quoted on the MSM everyday, you have no idea what they are saying or thinking. – Lorica
