What, Harry Reid “nasty”, well he certainly is no “dirty Harry”. “Nasty Harry” does have a nice ring to it.

Nah, he’s just “Dingy”. Fairly apropos for one who’s always associated with but never specifically tied to “dirty” or “nasty”.

I suppose he hated GM, too, until the guvmint took it over and gave it to the onions. I mean unions.

It’s no surprise guvmint runs most education today. It’s already run by the unions.

And as far as Dingy goes, he’s got an easier ride than most would expect, seeing’s how the SEIU runs most of Vegas, and they can always conjure up as many votes as he needs, what with all the homeless, graveyards and unions there. Heck, I wonder if they’ll find another Mickey Mouse to vote again? And he’ll probably have Ahmadinijad’s people advising him on how exactly to run the pre-voting.

Yeah, Nevada, stick the rest of the country with such an outstanding person of principle, always willing to put party ahead of country. With some real practice he could even be as good as “The Swimmer.”

What do you expect? We saw these thug tactics during the election, and we elected the thug-in-chief to the White House.

Okay, Obama’s not actually a thug. He’s too idealistic, too good, too pristine to get his hands dirty. He has goons to be bussed in to crack heads, and every Dem politico down the line has taken the message to heart – mess with us and you’re dog meat. And then Obama sits above it all, making magisterial pronuncements about how “both sides” need to respect each other.

Say the DNC today: “Nice Constitution you got here. Be a shame if anything happened to it.”

Since the Democratic Congress took control in January of 2007, thousands of private sector businesses HAVE “gone out of business” as public servant Reid proposed to his constituent. So, he’s basically espoused verbally the agenda which the Democratic Party in Congress has followed. Millions unemployed.

An average 5% unemployment rate sounds good, huh ? That was(roughly)the average unemployment rate from 1998-2001, when a Republican Congress gave us balanced federal budgets. Say goodnight to your own personal self-serving bureaucracy Harry.

I just hope all of these sanctimonious actual taxpayers who voted Democrat (versus those with their hands out for the rest of us to see to their every need while not paying a dime in to the system) are enjoying their just rewards. With these Marxist, “Progressive Socialists” at the helm they’ll take over the auto industry, healthcare, what press there is that aren’t already in the tank for them and now they’re grabbing at control over the internet. Everybody together now–unity at its finest, bend over and kiss our butts goodbye. I hope they take Harry Reid out one way or another.

If Reid, his cronies and fellow croakers were shown the door at the next election, it wouldn’t be a victory for the Republican party as much as a defeat of the enemies of freedom–statists, of whatever party or country, are the foes of free people everywhere. At least, that how it looks from the Bayou, where we’re not used to anybody telling us what to do or how to think.

The new mode, which is supported by them mainstream news media, where they can protest, say outrageous things, compare the President to Hitler/Nazis, etc. & it is American but when the other side dares to participate,they send in the union thugs & the news media endorses whatever comes from the WH & all the President’s men,———is unconscionable.

Well, you see, Homer, that’s where public education has devolved to. They don’t teach anyone how to think, just what to believe, and if one does do some real thinking the establishment goes ballistic and accuses the offender of such nefarious behavior that one is either ostracized by “normal” people (defined as people who believe and behave as they are told) or change back into unthinking cowards (which is a lot easier).

Significantly different from your last three words, “…how to think.”

Thinking is a real threat to all things liberal, and they use the same social processes as have been used through the ages to keep people in line, usually peer pressure, but occasionally the threat of thuggery or actual thuggery. And the more powerful the group becomes, the bolder those threats (as in SEIU, ACORN, Philadelphia Panthers and brownshirts.)

Dingy Harry has caught onto that concept quite nicely, don’tcha think?

Considering the rags like the NYT….that are losing readership, the paper in Las Vegas probably has it’s share of liberal editorials, etc. It’s ironic that a newspaper is speaking out against bullying tactics when others in the industry dish dirt on a regular basis and do very little in the way of journalism or cleaning up their own industry. So Harry is not unhappy about losing a newspaper….more power to the internet. But beware, Obama has his eye on controlling that, too, thinly veiled as a security option.

As it is Harry does have the backing of the casinos thug unions and workers who depend on the tourist industry. If the public were to boycott the casinos because they supported Harry maybe they would change their tune, too. I guess the high rollers may not be affected by a bad economy, but the general public really has a good excuse not to gamble in LV now.

The natives are restless here in Vega$. With an (admitted) unemployment rate of 13.5%, and Pinky’s inability to get his pal BarryO to remove the city from the presidential ‘blacklist,’ people are wondering WTH good is Reid? He’s already running campaign ads, but I am not at all certain they (or the $25M re-election war chest he’s amassed) will be enough to save him.

I don’t know, Tango. $25M can buy a lot of strongarm union thugs and ship in a lot of oak nuts to whip a wavering public, and with the right elections officials, who knows how many criminal aliens can be bought off, too? You know, the ones who believe Nevada is really still part of Mexico (like La Raza does) and us white folks are nothing more than squatters.
