There’s gotta be something in the water in DC that makes Congressmen feel they can either take bribes and get away from it or cheat on their income taxes and not get caught. So many of them do it. Unfortunately I agree that Rangel and/or other Democrats, will try to play the race card on this one. That, to me, adds insult to the injury these crooks commit against the hard working and honest citizens of this country.

I believe Mr. Rangel has the seat taken by Adam Clayton Powell in the 50s. If so, who is going to be surprised that a) Mr. Rangel is morally corrupt (since his teaching master was thrown out of the House, I believe for “moral turpitude”) and b) that he’d cry “racism”? Powell cried that before it was fashionable to be a media victim of racism.

There may be an honorable person or two in Congress; I don’t know for sure. But one thing I do know is that when you wallow with the pigs, you stink like them whether your a pig or not.

We need an entirely new Congress.
