No doubt this is not unique only to the SEC. I’m sure this takes place on a massive scale all across the various agencies of the U.S. government. And these are the guys the Democrats expect to take care of us from the cradle to the grave! Spectacular!

But wait, after thinking about this for a while, I think this might be a great thing. If every unemployed American opens up a porn website, the Federal employees alone could probably support all those new businesses. This would be a massive stimulus to the economy! Its a win-win! The Federal employees get their stimulus, and the American citizen gets their stimulus! And the beauty of it … since they only access porn sites while at work, and they work only Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, and with 20 Federal holidays each year, as a business owner, you could finally have the same cushy work schedule as the Federal employees have!

If you read the entire article, you’ll see one case of an “employee” resigning after being informed he’d lose his job over this activity. The article was talking about “senior” officials, yet the only person I saw in the article who actually lost his job over this bovine feces was listed as “an employee.”

What happened to the seventeen “senior SEC officers with salaries ranging from $100,000 to $222,000 per year” who were caught?

Assuming it was a long month, 31 days, with four two-day weekends, the accountant worked a maximum of 23 days. That means he averaged 695.65 attempts per day, 86.96 times per hour, or 1.45 times per minute of the day, every day, for the whole month. How could he have had any time left at all to do his job?

Or maybe they were just studying undercover tactics to expose misused tools of appropriation?

The bottom line, though, as hinted by Tex, is that these are the same people who wish to run our health care system, who want to keep track of carbon footprints and taxes attributed to thereof, and who already can’t keep track of the financial and banking industries, the Postal Service, Amtrak, or any of the other myriad of “government functions” and who allow, even force, our children to be taught the wonders of Gaiea (in direct violation, according to them, of the constitutional prohibition of teaching religion in government schools.)

We’re not necessarily tired of paying taxes. We’re just tired of paying for crap like this, and all the crap that goes to hire and maintain welfarers in jobs they seem to think are theirs by divine right.
